At American Socks, weâve always said that music and fashion go hand in hand. Itâs not just about what you wear, itâs about what you stand for. Thatâs why weâre stoked to team up with LANDMVRKS, one of the sickest bands coming out of the French metalcore scene, to drop a limited edition of socks that hit just as hard as their music.
If you donât know them yet, LANDMVRKS are from Marseille and have been making noise since 2014. What started as âColdsightâ quickly turned into the powerhouse they are today. Imagine a perfect mix of hardcore punk and metal, with influences from bands like Bring Me the Horizon and Architects but with their own twist. Theyâve toured Europe, the US, Japan, and right now theyâre melting stages in New Zealand and Australia.
A few weeks ago, they released their new album The Darkest Place Iâve Ever Been. Heavy, emotional, raw. Itâs not just breakdowns and riffs (though there are plenty of those). They went deep this time talking about fear, self-reflection, and all those dark places we all go through. They even brought in some hip-hop vibes, and honestly, it slaps.
Weâve been bumping into each other at festivals for years, hanging out, having beers, sharing stories. At some point, it just made sense to create something together. So, we joined forces with an artist friend who gets both our vibes, and designed socks inspired by the artwork of The Darkest Place Iâve Ever Been. Dark, powerful, and straight-up badass.
